What a year it has been for the inaugural Catherine K. Gyllerstrom Imaginative Realism Award category! Open to traditional painting, drawing or sculpture (with a focus on imaginative realism), we have enjoyed a truly broad selection of entries. Our Jury Panel - including esteemed Arts Champions Catherine K. Gyllerstrom of BearWolf Books and Patrick Wilshire of IX Arts and IX Gallery - have been going through the entries and making the incredibly difficult decisions. We now unveil the Finalists.
The unveiling begins - and what a year it has been for the BearWolf Books Emerging Artist Award category! Open to all mediums, we saw an amazing and diverse selection of entries. Our Jury Panel - including esteemed Arts Champions Catherine K. Gyllerstrom of BearWolf Books and Vicki Fox of Quirky Fox Gallery - have been going through the entries and making the incredibly difficult decisions. Once again, the overall quality of entries was exceptional; we are deeply honoured by our community's interest in the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize.

Reviewing such a wealth of exceptional work was both a demanding and deeply inspiring undertaking. We are truly honored by the artistic excellence and passion demonstrated by our global community.
This year, the caliber of talent within the Sculpture Award category has been nothing short of extraordinary. We have been deeply moved by the diverse range of vision, technical mastery, and innovative use of materials presented by sculptors from around the globe. Our Jury Panel - including esteemed sculptor Matthias Verginer - have been reviewing the entries. With such a wealth of exceptional work, the task of selecting this year’s finalists has been an incredibly difficult, yet inspiring challenge; we are deeply honoured by our community's interest in the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize.
