“Lilith”: The characterization of the biblical figure Lilith has been a polarizing force for me. Is she a symbol of seduction and a slayer of children, or a symbol of female independence and autonomy in a male dominated world? This painting is an exploration of who Lilith is to the viewer. Each person will see a different meaning depending on their own beliefs.
