The judging process certainly has not been easy for our Jury Panel with so many excellent Digital Art entries from countries all over the world. It has however been a real thrill seeing all the unique, moving and inspiring artwork across a wide range of styles and genres.
We received entries from artists creating digital paintings and drawings, digital 3D art, vector, digital collage and photomanipulations across a plethora of software apps including: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (Creative Cloud), After Effects, Sketch; Wacom Intuos Pro, Procreate; Zbrush; Corel Painter, Photo Paint, Paintshop Pro; Cinema 4D; Redshift; Keyshot; Autodesk Maya; Octane Render; Daz 3D; ArtRage; Nuke. Hardware was just as diverse including: Alienware PC; Android and Apple mobile phones; Apple iMac, Macbook Pro, iPad Pro, Apple Pencil; Wacom Cintiq; Microsoft Surface Pro.
The Digital Art Award Finalists are all exceptional examples of the diverse digital art creation methods, and provide a fascinating snapshot of many different styles digital artists are currently working in.
From the 100 Finalists [from all Award Categories], the Winners in each category, and overall 1st Prize Winner will participate in the prestigious Beautiful Bizarre Magazine curated exhibition at Haven Gallery along side an incredible line up of over 50 of the best contemporary artists from around the world. Plus share in over USD$20,000 in cash and prizes including: a non acquisitive cash prize, product prizes, advertising packages, editorial in Beautiful Bizarre Magazine, exclusive interviews published on the Beautiful Bizarre website, exposure to our 970,000+ social media community, and more!! Three entries will be chosen by Haven Gallery Directors, Erica and Joseph to receive Honourable Mentions.
The People’s Choice winner will be selected by popular vote from the 100 Finalists, and will receive a year’s worth of social media advertising through the Beautiful Bizarre Magazine socials, plus have an in-depth interview published on the Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize websites, giving readers an insight into their vision and practice.
